More often than not, a harmless hobby can spiral out of control and become an obsession. The Internet has so much power; one must be careful not to lose control of the relationship.

Here’s an eye-opening read about the teen segment’s media consumption. It’s sad, but true! In my research, it has become apparent that teens are not taught how to properly use technology. Social networking is going nowhere- there is no use in trying to get rid of it- teens today need to be educated on how to apply it to their daily lives. They need to be educated on its pros and cons. In addition to this article, I would highly recommend the PBS specials Growing Up Online and Digital Nation.

Here’s a good read on how companies go about surveys in an inefficient way. If you ask me, surveys should be short and come with a reward (i.e. 10% off next purchase).
